About Me

Meet Kerry

I’m funny, feisty, straight talking and usually the most positive person in the room. I’m endlessly curious about people, what makes us tick and why we do the things we do.

I live by the sea with my two sons, two dogs and a cat who thinks she’s a dog. When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me in the sea or on it. I moved here 19 years ago after finally taking that particular dream off the shelf, and I’ve never regretted it.

How can I ask you to be brave enough to create a life that works for you if I’m not prepared to do the same?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the brave and curious one. That hasn’t changed.

I've been doing this a long time

studied Psychology and Communication at university. It was the beginning of understanding how people work, what shapes us and why we make the choices we do.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with people in organisations and in my own coaching practice. I’ve studied behaviour and emotional intelligence, worked through major organisational change and spent years watching how people adapt, resist, cope and grow.

And I’ve learned that most of the time, when someone is struggling, it isn’t because there’s something fundamentally wrong with them.

It’s because they’re trying to live a life that doesn’t actually work for who they are.

My job has always been to help people work that out, and then have the courage to do something about it.

How I coach

My coaching is person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based, with curiosity at the heart of how I work.

That means I’m not here to fix you, diagnose everything you do or turn you into a more organised and acceptable version of yourself.

I want to understand you. How you work. What’s underneath the patterns. What’s draining you. What you’ve learned to believe about yourself. And what you’re already bloody brilliant at but have probably dismissed because it comes naturally to you.

I’ll ask questions. Lots of them. Some will make you think. Some might make you uncomfortable. Some will make us laugh.

And then we do something with what we discover. Because insight is brilliant, but knowing why isn’t always enough.

We turn that understanding into practical changes that work for your brain, your life and what matters to you.

Then ADHD joined the dots for me too

In 2022, someone asked if I thought I might have ADHD. I was shocked and, frankly, a bit bemused.

What followed was a lot of curiosity, my own diagnosis and training as an ADHD Practitioner. And suddenly, a lot of things started joining up.

Not because ADHD suddenly qualified me to coach. I’d already been doing that for more than 25 years. But it gave me another lens through which to understand myself, my work and the people I coach.

I began to recognise the same busy, curious, pattern-spotting brain that had been showing up throughout my life and career. And I understood from the inside what it can feel like to look back at years of your life with completely new information about yourself.

That experience added something important to the way I work, particularly with neurodivergent clients.

But it also reinforced something I already knew:

Understanding yourself isn’t the finish line. It’s where things start to get interesting.

Finding your brilliance

All of this, the curiosity, the 25+ years, the neurodiversity lens, the practical changes, is in service of one thing: helping you find out who you are when you stop trying to be acceptable to everyone else.

That’s your brilliance.

It’s already there. You may have learned to dismiss it, hide it or simply not recognise it because it comes so naturally to you.

My job is to help you see it, trust it and stop wasting so much of yourself trying to live in ways that don’t work for you.

Because when you understand yourself, protect your capacity and clear away what’s getting in the way, there’s a lot more of you available for the things that actually matter.

If that sounds like what you need, let’s talk.
